Following full permitting of the Ostwind 1 cable route, 50Hertz scheduled the start of construction works for summer 2015, including the approximately 3 km onshore section connecting the Baltic Sea export cables to the Lubmin substation as part of the grid connection for the Wikinger and Arkona wind farms.
