Description
JD Contractor A/S was awarded the public works contract "24/06488 – ORH‑VONØ Offshore works" by Energinet Eltransmission for the offshore implementation of the ORH‑VONØ transmission link. The contract, concluded on 11 August 2025 with a value of about EUR 10.90 million, covers load-out of the submarine cables from a Danish port, marine transportation, laying and seabed protection of two approximately 7 km HVAC submarine cables (14 km total) across the Storstrømmen Strait between Orehoved and Vordingborg Nord. JD Contractor will execute the offshore installation campaign in 2026, with completion required by summer 2027.
