On 14 August 2025, Energinet Eltransmission published OJEU contract award notice 531953-2025 for tender 24/06488 "ORH-VONØ Offshore works", confirming award of a public works contract for the offshore installation scope, including load out from a Danish port, transportation, laying and protection of two 7 km submarine cables across the Storstrømmen straight for the ORH-VONØ interconnector project.
