Swedish onshore 400 kV connection between Kristinelund substation and the Øresund 400 kV interconnector, forming part of the overall Öresund 400 kV AC link between Sweden and Denmark.
Elnos Group was contracted by Svenska kraftnät to reconstruct sections of the 400 kV overhead transmission line associated with the Öresund 400 kV interconnection near Helsingborg on the Swedish side. The work, executed during the COVID‑19 pandemic period, involved dismantling old towers and conductors on the FL 25 and FL 23 line sections leading to substation Kristinelund, erecting new 400 kV lattice towers, installing new conductors and protective earth wires, and fitting optical ground wire (OPGW). This construction‑phase refurbishment formed the onshore reinforcement component of the broader project that also replaced one of the 400 kV submarine cables across the Öresund Strait, enhancing reliability of the cross‑border link between Sweden and Denmark.
