Elnos Group

Elnos Group is an international electrical engineering concern headquartered in Banjaluka, Bosnia and Herzegovina, with roots in an 80‑year industrial tradition and around three decades of modern corporate operations. The group focuses on the design, construction, modernisation and reconstruction of power facilities up to 400 kV, including power plants, substations, transmission lines and associated infrastructure and industrial installations. Its portfolio in renewable energy covers several hundred megawatts of installed hydropower, wind, biomass and solar capacity, and by 2026 it reported references of more than 1,100 MW in hydropower plants, over 550 MW in wind, more than 200 MW in solar and over 100 MW in other renewable sources. Operationally, Elnos Group delivers EPC and specialist services across power plants, AIS and GIS substations, HVDC converter stations and 400/220/110/130 kV transmission lines, as well as urban and transport infrastructure, industrial energy systems, overhead contact lines and telecommunications and antenna facilities. It also develops digitalisation solutions such as SCADA systems, IoT devices and analytics for energy efficiency, and manufactures container substations, battery energy storage systems, data centres, electrical cabinets, prefabricated transformer stations and security seals. The group operates through more than 20 legal entities and representative offices, including Elnos BL, Elnos Serbia, Elnos Inženjering (Montenegro), Elnos North Macedonia, ENS Croatia and ENS Slovenia, Elnos Nordic (Sweden), Elnos Iceland, Elnos Norway, Elnos Deutschland, EMEL Power in the United Kingdom and companies in Poland, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Romania and Austria, serving 18 European markets from Scandinavia to Southeast Europe. Its projects include major grid and interconnection schemes in the Nordic countries and Slovenia and large wind and hydropower projects in the Western Balkans, positioning the group as a recurring partner in Europe’s grid modernisation and energy transition.
