Description
DeepOcean was awarded an offshore cable installation contract by Nobelwind NV covering pre-lay surveys, pre-lay grapnel runs, installation and trenching of 50 inter-array cables, design and supply of cable protection systems, and pull-in and trenching of the pre-installed export cable connecting the Nobelwind OHVS to the existing 220 kV Northwind OHVS (shared export connection). DeepOcean also nominated vessels to support the works, including the DP2 support vessel Deep Helder and the trenching support vessel Volantis for trenching operations. Cable termination and testing support was included as an option under the agreement.
