The Norther offshore grid connection, comprising the offshore high-voltage station stepping up turbine output from 33 kV to 220 kV and the single 220 kV export cable from the OHVS to shore at Zeebrugge and into the Belgian grid, started operational service in Q2 2019, marking the beginning of full commercial operation of the Norther transmission system alongside the wind farm.
