TotalEnergies has publicly stated a final investment decision target of 2027 for the 2 GW NordSee Energies 1 (NSE1) offshore wind farm on the N-12.1 site in the German North Sea EEZ. The FID-2027 target is part of TotalEnergies' Nordsee Energies Hub development pathway in Germany, alongside an FID-2028 target for NSE2 and a unified construction start in 2029 for both NSE1 and the Ostsee Energies (OSE) Baltic Sea project. The 2027 FID timing is consistent with the 18-month BSH review window from the November 2025 Planfeststellungsbeschluss application submission — i.e. project consent expected by mid-2027, enabling FID later that year.
