Description
Norddeutsche Seekabelwerke GmbH (NSW), a subsidiary of General Cable, was awarded a contract by OWP Nordergründe GmbH & Co. KG to produce and install the medium-voltage inter-array (inner-park) cabling for the Nordergründe offshore wind farm. The scope covered manufacture/supply and offshore installation of the submarine MV cables connecting the wind turbines within the array and to the offshore substation, with installation stated to be carried out using the cable-laying barge NOSTAG10 designed for shallow/nearshore waters.
