As part of the NordBalt project, Litgrid completed the reconstruction of the 330/110/10 kV Klaipėda transformer substation in Lithuania in 2014, providing upgraded onshore infrastructure required to connect the new HVDC interconnection to the Lithuanian transmission grid.
