In Litgrid’s 2014 network development plan, the remaining NordBalt cable-laying works were planned to be completed in summer 2015. After up to 250 km of cable were expected to be laid towards Sweden by September 2014, the project schedule foresaw finishing the remaining subsea cable installation across the Baltic Sea in the summer of 2015.
