The Nederwiek 3 (Nederwiek noord III) 2 GW HVDC grid connection is unique in the Dutch routekaart in that it combines a wind-farm grid connection with a hybrid interconnector to the United Kingdom (LionLink). TenneT and National Grid are developing the asset jointly. Anchor reasoning: - The April 2024 Routekaart Wind op Zee (Jetten, Kamerstuk DGKE-DRE/52795804, Table 1) schedules Nederwiek (noord) kavel III wind farm commissioning at Q4 2031. The grid must precede or coincide with the wind farm so it can export power, so the grid commissioning is anchored at end-2031 year-precision. - The previous DB anchor (2032-12-31) was a year LATER than the wind farm it serves, which is physically impossible — pulled back to 2031 to align with the wind farm and the routekaart.
