DELAYED +0mo (Apr 2026): reNews Global Offshore Wind Report 2024 states Nederwiek 2 is now scheduled to come into operation in Q2 2032 instead of the earlier 2030 expectation. This aligns with recent February 2026 coverage, where Offshorewind.biz and TenneT describe commissioning of IJmuiden Ver Beta in 2029 and other 2GW links, including Nederwiek 2, following in subsequent years towards 2032. Keeping COD at end-Q2 2032 is consistent with this revised outlook. DELAYED +5mo (Apr 2026): GE Vernova/Seatrium’s June 10, 2024 press release for Nederwiek 2 still cited commissioning by 2031. However, the renews Global Offshore Wind Report 2024 states that Nederwiek 2 is now scheduled to come into operation in the second quarter of 2032 instead of 2030. Given this revision and slippage of onshore and subsea works into 2026–2030, the 2031 developer date looks optimistic.
