Description

Following the failed 2025 tender and subsequent legislative changes, site N‑10.1 is planned to be re-tendered in 2027 for offshore wind development in the German North Sea EEZ. BSH indicates that, in line with Section 14 of the Offshore Wind Energy Act (WindSeeG), the Federal Network Agency (BNetzA) will run a new auction for N‑10.1 as a site treated under the rules for non-preliminarily investigated areas, with the exact auction date to be set in the area development plan.
