Description
Cablel® Hellenic Cables SA entered into a contract of approximately EUR 70 million with Dredging International NV (DEME Group) to deliver high-voltage submarine cable systems for Elia’s Modular Offshore Grid (MOG) project in the Belgian North Sea. The scope comprised the design and engineering, manufacturing, jointing, termination and testing of about 90 km of 220 kV composite AC three-core XLPE-insulated submarine cables, including associated optical fibre elements. Project execution was due to commence in 2017.
