Description
Dredging International NV (DEME Group) carried out the offshore installation operations for the 220 kV high-voltage submarine cable systems for Elia’s Modular Offshore Grid (MOG) in the Belgian North Sea, with the installation works scheduled to take place in Q2 2019. The cable system referenced comprised approximately 90 km of 220 kV composite AC three-core XLPE-insulated submarine cables intended to progressively connect planned offshore wind farms to the onshore high-voltage grid at Zeebrugge.
