In 1996, the Danish Energy Authority granted approximately EUR 680,000 to support preliminary investigations for the Middelgrunden offshore wind farm, funding technical and environmental studies of the site, including the Environmental Impact Assessment, as well as analyses of the organisational and economic structure of the cooperative-owned share of the project.
