Description
Bluewater signed an agreement with METCentre for a berth option to deploy an innovative floating wind system at the METCentre offshore test area near Karmøy, Norway. Bluewater developed a Tension Leg Platform (TLP) floating foundation concept intended to support offshore wind turbines in deeper and harsher North Sea conditions; the option agreement was positioned as a demonstration step to showcase the TLP foundation technology under METCentre’s expanded concession.
