ABB, described as Aker Solutions’ subsea power and automation alliance partner, was selected to deliver the subsea switchgear package for the Subsea Collector pilot at METCentre, including supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) functionality for control and monitoring of the subsea power distribution system supporting the METCentre expansion off Karmøy, Norway.
