Turbine installation at Lynn began in 2008 under MPI Offshore's contract, using the purpose-built turbine installation vessel MV Resolution. The campaign installed 27 × Siemens SWT-3.6-107 turbines (97.2 MW) approximately 5.2 km off the Lincolnshire coast as part of the combined Lynn + Inner Dowsing programme (54 turbines total). Installation completed by July 2008, with full commercial operations from March 2009. Year precision used as exact day-precision first-turbine date is not pinned.
