During 2007, all monopile foundations for the 54 turbines serving the combined Lynn and Inner Dowsing offshore wind farms, including the 27 turbines of Lynn, were installed, along with the submarine power cables linking the turbines and connecting the wind farms to shore. The foundations were installed following prior geotechnical surveys, using the purpose-built installation vessel M.V. Resolution, with some locations requiring drilling to achieve the target design depth in the local geology.
