During 2005, Vattenfall Vindkraft AB completed the bidding process for the Lillgrund offshore wind power plant and awarded Siemens Wind Power A/S the contract for wind turbines and the electrical system, which includes the 130 kV sea and land cable connection and associated substations forming the grid link to shore.
