Onshore construction for the Lillgrund export connection began in February 2007 with installation of approximately 2 km of 130 kV onshore cable, manufactured by ABB in Karlskrona and buried about one metre below ground along a route near existing roads between the coastline and E.ON’s 130 kV Bunkeflo substation.
