Prior to installing the 130 kV export sea cable between the Lillgrund offshore substation and shore, a pre-excavated trench approximately one metre deep and 1.5 metres wide at the bottom was prepared on the seabed using the dredger GRÄVLINGEN, which deposited the excavated material on one side to facilitate later backfilling.
