Description
Quadrifoglio Drilling Srl, an Italian HDD specialist within the CEBAT group, was engaged to execute the horizontal directional drilling operations for the Lanzarote–Fuerteventura 132 kV HVAC link. Working under CEBAT’s HDD contract with Prysmian, Quadrifoglio is responsible for carrying out the drilled crossings between Playa Blanca on Lanzarote and La Oliva on Fuerteventura, including installation of welded HDPE ducts that will house the interconnector cable at the coastal transition zones. Its role focuses on delivering the technically challenging HDD works in basaltic geology while minimising environmental impact at the marine landings.
