Description
50Hertz awarded Siemens Energy (as part of the consortium with Dragados Offshore) an EPCI contract for the LanWin3 (NOR-11-1) HVDC converter system, comprising an offshore converter platform and an onshore converter station in Germany. The contract scope included engineering, procurement, construction, transport and installation at sea and on land. Siemens Energy stated that the HVDC components for the converter would be manufactured at European production sites as part of delivering the converter systems.
