OX2 began developing the Laine offshore wind power project in 2020 in the Finnish exclusive economic zone of the Gulf of Bothnia, adjacent to the cities of Kokkola and Pietarsaari, initiating early-stage work on the planned ~150-turbine, 11 TWh per year wind farm.
