The Italian Ministry for Economic Development (MiSE) granted construction and operation authorisation for the 132 kV cable connections 'Cavallino - Sacca Serenella' and 'Fusina - Sacca Fisola', as part of Terna’s Venice Lagoon cable project. The consent, formalised by Decree EL-106 on 6 August 2009 and linked to Terna’s Development Plan, enabled Terna to proceed with implementing the underground and submarine HVAC links serving the Venice area.
