Terna, in its Insula Project documentation, stated that it planned to invest a total of €33 million in two Venice Lagoon infrastructures, including the 132 kV Cavallino–Sacca Serenella cable connection and the burial of the 132 kV Fusina2–Sacca Fisola line, in order to complete the 132 kV grid in the lagoon and improve supply security for Venice and the nearby Adriatic coast.
