As part of constructing the 132 kV Sacca Serenella–Cavallino lagoon cable for Terna, Nautilus Srl completed the landfall works by pulling the cables ashore through controlled horizontal directional drilling (TOC), achieving up to 900 m pull length per single cable. These landfall operations, executed without interrupting existing services or closing navigation, enabled the transition of the submarine cable bundle to the onshore sections connected to the primary substations.
