Terna completed the installation and construction of the 132 kV cable overhead line between Fusina 2 and Sacca Fisola primary substations in the Venice lagoon, as part of the development plan approved by the Italian Ministry of Economic Development. The new cable interconnection improves the security and reliability of electricity supply to the Venice area and has entered into operation alongside the related lagoon cable works.
