Description
CG, an Avantha Group company, was contracted by Energinet.dk to supply key high‑voltage equipment for the Kriegers Flak grid connection and Combined Grid Solution. The scope covers two onshore 500 MVA 410/235 kV autotransformers for Danish onshore substations, as well as four 220 MVA 32/225 kV transformers and nine bays of 220 kV gas‑insulated switchgear (GIS) for the offshore platform substations. These transformers and GIS bays support voltage transformation and switching for both the Kriegers Flak offshore wind export and the cross‑border ‘supergrid’ interconnection between Denmark and Germany. CG’s delivery took place in the construction phase and provided the primary high‑voltage substation equipment needed to maintain secure, reliable transmission from the offshore area into the onshore Danish grid and onward to neighbouring systems.
