Onshore construction for the Kråmö Area Cables project in Trosa skärgård started in March 2016, when Vattenfall Services Nordic began works to supply islands including Kråmö with electricity. As part of this effort, subcontractor SUAB, led on site by Markus Eriksson, carried out cable laying across nine sea stretches totaling about 9,400 meters, along with onshore works such as excavation for eight cable landfalls and the foundation and installation of two network stations on the islands.
