Svenska kraftnät and Danish TSO Energinet have established a joint development and investment arrangement for the Konti-Skan Connect project, a new 1,000 MW HVDC interconnector that will replace the ageing Konti-Skan 1 and 2 links between Lindome in southwest Sweden and Vester Hassing in Jutland, Denmark. The project description confirms that the two TSOs are co-developing the link and that investment costs will be shared equally between them, with Svenska kraftnät’s share provisionally estimated at SEK 6,500 million.
