First Subsea

First Subsea secured a contract with Cobra Group to supply cable protection systems (CPS) for the Kincardine offshore wind farm. The scope was the supply of eleven CPS units intended to protect the electrical power cable at the floater entry point by combining a mechanical diver-less subsea connector and polyurethane bend stiffener to manage dynamic bending loads on floating foundations.
