First Subsea

First Subsea secured a contract with Cobra Group to supply cable protection systems (CPS) for the Kincardine floating offshore wind farm offshore Aberdeen. The scope covered the provision of eleven CPS units intended to protect the electrical power cables at the floater entry point by combining a mechanical diver-less subsea connector and polyurethane bend stiffener, improving fatigue life under dynamic conditions.
