MHI Vestas Offshore Wind was selected as turbine supplier for the Kincardine Floating Offshore Wind Farm, with a firm order signed in 2018 between Cobra Group and MHI Vestas’ UK division to provide five V164-9.5 MW turbines for the 50 MW floating project located about 15 km southeast of Aberdeen Bay, in addition to an already-installed 2 MW Vestas turbine.
