Kincardine Offshore Windfarm Limited (KOWL) carried out the first offshore deployment at the Kincardine site in 2018, installing a 2 MW wind turbine together with its associated floating substructure, anchors and mooring lines at location KIN‑01 about 15 km southeast of Aberdeen, marking the start of foundation installation for the project’s floating units.
