Description
GeoSea (DEME’s marine engineering subsidiary) was awarded contracts by Vattenfall for the Kentish Flats Extension offshore wind farm to design, supply and install 15 wind turbine foundations, and to install 15 wind turbines. The works were scheduled to start in spring 2015 using a jack-up installation vessel, and the foundations featured an innovative design suited to the project’s very shallow waters and tidal constraints.
