In May 2010, The Crown Estate granted Vattenfall Wind Power Ltd the opportunity to extend the Kentish Flats Offshore Wind Farm, effectively awarding seabed rights for the Kentish Flats Extension so that up to fifteen 3.3 MW turbines could be added to the existing project.
