DELAYED +1yr (Apr 2026): The Oceankaj (Nordhavn) 132 kV high‑voltage substation is an integral part of Energinet’s Glentegård–Nordhavn–Amagerværket 132 kV cable project (KBH05). On Energinet’s official project page the overall cable project is marked "Forventes i drift 2027". Earlier internal timelines for KBH05 envisaged commissioning of both the cable link and the Oceankaj substation around the end of the construction period, roughly in 2026. However, the same Energinet project page shows a detailed schedule with cable work originally planned to finish and the link to be put into operation in 1Q 2026, while news posts from March 2026 describe ongoing cable construction and new jointing works, confirming that the 1Q 2026 in‑service milestone has been missed. Given this slippage and Energinet’s own 2027 in‑service expectation, commissioning of the Oceankaj onshore substation by 2026‑12‑01 is unlikely. The onshore substation commissioning date is therefore pushed to 2027, aligned with the revised in‑service year for the overall project. --- Energinet plans to commission the new 132 kV Oceankaj high-voltage substation and associated KBH05 cable connections around the end of the construction period, with the detailed project description scheduling energisation in December 2026 and Energinet’s geographic project list indicating expected commissioning in 2027. The project’s main works run from August 2024 through late 2026, including construction of the onshore high-voltage station from December 2024 to November 2026, after which the substation and cables will be put into service.
