Ramboll was selected by Energinet to perform the cable route survey for the offshore part of the KBH02 (København02) project’s new 132 kV subsea power cable. The scope covered geophysical survey work (including multi-beam echo-sounding bathymetry, side-scan sonar seabed mapping, and high-resolution magnetometry to map UXO/ferrous man-made objects, marine archaeology, and utility crossings), geotechnical and environmental investigations (combined seabed sampling and CPT testing to 3 metres below seabed, with laboratory environmental testing), and crossing surveys including an ROV crossing survey to determine positions of third-party utilities with video documentation, plus reporting and data delivery.
