On 31 August 2020, the Danish environmental authority (Miljøstyrelsen) issued a screening decision for the KBH02 132 kV cable renovation project, concluding that the project does not require preparation of an environmental impact assessment report under the Environmental Assessment Act (§21). The decision, along with the application and supporting documents, was published digitally on mst.dk with information about public access and appeal procedures.
