Turbine installation at the Kårehamn offshore wind farm began in early 2013, with Vestas V112-3.0 MW turbines lifted onto the gravity-based foundations in Baltic Sea winter conditions down to −15°C, using SikaGrout-9500 at the tower–foundation interface to achieve rapid strength gain and keep construction on schedule.
