Falmouth Divers Ltd has supported the ongoing operations and maintenance of the Isles of Scilly–mainland 33 kV submarine power cable. The company carried out ROV surveys of the Isles of Scilly–Mainland power cable, as well as cable mapping and condition surveys and subsequent cable protection works at Porthcressa, St Mary’s. Falmouth Divers also procured a cable ship and repair contractor and supplied an offshore representative for a repair campaign off Land’s End. These activities provided inspection, integrity assessment, and physical protection of the in‑service island‑link cable.
