Description
Hatch Küttner was contracted by TenneT to provide HVDC engineering support to EPCI contractors delivering the 2 GW bipolar HVDC converter stations for Dutch offshore grid connections, including IJmuiden Ver Gamma. Hatch was appointed as a backup/second-backup supplier under TenneT’s HVDC engineering support team framework, supporting HVDC system studies and testing support (Lot 1) and primary plant engineering plus installation/commissioning support (Lot 2) as assignments are made under the EUR 7 million total framework.
