Oceanteam

Oceanteam was awarded a rental contract by DEME to supply, mobilise and operate a complete cable-lay tensioner spread and associated control system to support the inshore installation of power and fibre-optic cables for the IJmuiden Ver Alpha export cable works in the Veerse Meer area (Zeeland, the Netherlands). The scope included multiple track tensioners and bow cable engines, hydraulic power and electrical control units, centralised control consoles, data logging and remote monitoring, and provision of Oceanteam tensioner operators working alongside DEME’s team for lay-and-bury execution.
