On 31 October 2019, Equinor, on behalf of the Gullfaks and Snorre partners, signed a Turbine Supply Agreement with Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy for Hywind Tampen, covering design, procurement and fabrication of the 11 wind turbines and their assembly and completion onshore at Gulen and offshore at the wind farm site.
