System Testing

In 2023, Ocean Installer was contracted to transport and install five 2.5‑kilometre dynamic inter‑array cables at Hywind Tampen, connecting existing turbines to four new wind turbines that were to be installed and commissioned that year. The cable hook‑up and commissioning of these additional turbines represented a planned system‑level testing and commissioning phase to bring the floating wind farm up to its full 88 MW capacity.
