On 11 October 2019 the Snorre and Gullfaks licence partners, led by Equinor, submitted updated Plans for Development and Operation (PDOs) to the Norwegian authorities that incorporated the Hywind Tampen floating wind farm. These amended PDOs sought project-wide development consent to build and operate Hywind Tampen to supply renewable power to the Snorre A/B and Gullfaks A/B/C platforms.
